The Canberra International Riesling Challenge is a competition dedicated to Riesling wines only to showcase the wonders of the Riesling variety.

Now in its 12th year, the Challenge has become the largest event of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere.

The Canberra International Riesling Challenge agenda is to develop the profile, quality, and innovation in winemaking of Riesling wine styles and promote them to the World.  An initiative of Canberra business people and staged there, it promotes Canberra the National Capital of Australia.
